Who we are

GetIrishCompany.com is the data controller for personal data submitted through this site.

What we collect

• Account info: name, email, password hash.
• Company formation inputs: proposed name, directors, shareholders, registered office, uploaded identity documents.
• Billing info: processed by Stripe — we do not store card numbers.
• Usage analytics: anonymised page views, referrer, device type.

Legal basis

We process data under GDPR Article 6(1)(b) — performance of contract (delivering the service you bought) — and (f) legitimate interest for analytics and fraud prevention.

Retention

Account and document data is retained for 7 years to meet Irish tax and corporate record-keeping requirements, then deleted. You can request earlier deletion — see rights below.

Your rights

Under GDPR you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict processing, object, and data portability. Contact [email protected]. You may also lodge a complaint with the Irish Data Protection Commission (dataprotection.ie).

Sub-processors

We use Stripe (payments), Cloudflare (CDN), AWS (storage), Claude/OpenAI (document generation). Data processed by sub-processors is covered by DPAs and appropriate EU transfer safeguards.
