Corrections Policy
We take factual accuracy seriously. When we publish something wrong, we correct it openly.
Reporting an error
If you spot a factual error in an article, email [email protected] with the article URL, the statement you believe is incorrect, and a source. We respond within 2 business days.
How we correct
- Minor typos and formatting: fixed silently.
- Factual corrections: the article is updated, and a dated Correction note is appended at the top explaining what changed.
- Material errors: the article is updated, a prominent correction is added, and we push the correction to any syndicated versions and newsletters.
- Retractions: if an article is fundamentally wrong and cannot be corrected, it is retracted with a note explaining why. The original URL remains so external links are not broken.
Updates vs corrections
Regulatory changes (e.g. CRO fee updates, VAT threshold changes) are handled as updates, not corrections. The article shows the new datePublished and dateModified and a change log at the bottom when the change is material.
